The big event since the last update - Thanksgiving! But the stinker's been busy with other things too.
First, after much back-and-forth negotiations, grandma and grandpa accepted the position of caretaker! So, baby Emily spends 6 hours a day getting completely spoiled. But she's learning Korean!
Thanksgiving was not too eventful for Emily, except that right around that time, she started on solid foods! She's starting to get the hang of drinking forumla laced with rice cereal out of her sippy cup. But what she really loves is real food. Whether hungry or completely full, if Emily sees anyone around her eating, she starts chewing and reaching for the food. What a clown. Her favorite food - Korean pears! At about $2 a pop, dadda ain't too happy. And for some reason, she likes that word, "dadda," makes her laugh hysterically most of the time. No respect . . . But she is eating baby pears, squash, carrots - boy is sure makes her poo even more stinky though . . .

She has to hold her food - the spoon, sippy cup . . . A real independent woman, which is what grandpa calls her.
Also about this time, Emily decided she doesn't like wearing pants. Especially at night time. So, we woke up several mornings in a row to . . .
And the funnest thing we tried recently - swimming in the bath tub! I get into my swim shorts, Emily goes native and we go swimming/bathing. She loves it! We tried the swimsuit that's been hanging in her closet for the past six months, but going buck turned out better for the bath. So far no code brown, knock on wood.
