Today, Emily is two weeks old! She has changed so much, yet so little too in two weeks. Her big ole cone head is finally rounding out. She's not swollen, which makes her look even more adorable. But she weighs about the same as the day she was born, she still cries and poops on herself. Polly's Mom left on Tuesday, same day my Mom & Dad left. Grandparents were very sad to leave Emily, so I'm sure we'll be seeing them a lot more. We had a little birthday celebration for Dad before he left - he's 70 years older than Emily-poo. She had a lot of fun at the birthday party. This week, life was about trying to convince Emily that when it's dark outside, it's night and when it's light outside, it's day. Also, more nursing woes, but she's getting the hang of it. Polly's been a real trooper, nursing when she can and sticking with it. Poor Mommy, she has to get up at least twice each night to feed the runt, or else the the neighbors will call the cops on us - she's got some lungs! Emily went for a long walk yesterday - we took her out to dinner! We missed Maruichi Ramen House, so we packed her up in her car seat and stroller and went out to dinner! She was great - slept the whole time, no monster appeared the entire evening. After dinner, we walked up to Double Rainbow for a little treat (don't tell Polly's Mom, Mommy's not supposed to have anything cold for like a year . . .). Anyway, more visitors this week (Scott & Young-Ah, Dennis & Alexa McCarron, Jay & Cindy, Laura & Eric).
